Kowhaiwhai
In He Kakano (our senior moari group) we have been
learning about kowhaiwhai and their meanings. I had
to create a kowhaiwhai panel with a meaning and this is
what the meaning of it is.
The koru at the bottom represents waves on the beach.
The kape (crescent pattern) represents things doubled
because my family love walking on the beach when we are
camping. I choose to do a whai (stingray) in the middle
because we love watching sea animals in the water.
