Toki Pounamu Film Festival

Toki Pounamu
Film Festival

On the 14 of november Apollo 12 was launched and you can’t
forget that the Toki Pounamu Film Festival happened. Today
we went to the Greymouth Regent Theatre to watch the
film festival. It was the first time we had the film festival
and all the films were made by local children. There was
Blacktown School, Karoro School, Paroa School,
Kaniere School, St Patricks and Kumara school. We all
got there on school buss. When we got there we got
seated and then the films started to play. In the middle
we got a short breaks so we got to do a wave which was
quite weird and fun.

My favorite film was one about a crime. It started with a
news report that said,    ‘‘Today there has been a robbery
and the thief stole over 2 million dollars.’’ The people who
filmed it did a really great job because there was some slow
motion and really good props and costumes. Over all I really
liked it.
